Qantas serves 41 destinations in 18 countries, offering four classes of service for long haul international flights and the standard three for short haul (usually 5 hours or less) international and domestic flights.
First Class on international flights have a lay-flat bed that does pretty much lay flat, offers fine wines, gourmet food choices and various forms of entertainment, from movies, interactive games, and television programmes.
Business Class seats are comfortable and stretch out, but they don’t lay horizontal. The Premium Economy class has a bit more room than regular old coach and offers a leg rests, offering a tad touch of comfort above coach. Qantas will soon start flying the new Airbus A380 on long flights with a first-class “suite” instead of “seat” and will knock the socks off anyone lucky enough to fly it.
