Austrian Airways, the national carrier for Austria gives passengers not only a 90 percent on-time rating but does have great in-flight service whether in coach or business.
Austrian considers even the youngest passengers onboard with a special menu, toys, and children friendly entertainment, there’s even a children’s frequent flyer programme. It’s not all sunshine in coach, of course, with limited choices of meals and the standard uncomfortable seating (mostly for the long-haul flights or on the older planes).
Don’t go expecting any great luxury business class seating but with a polite dutiful flight crew you might hardly notice. Now with Lufthansa helping Austrian within the North American sector, look forward to even better customer service.
