When making plans to take a trip by air, there are a couple of considerations that need to be made. One of the biggest considerations is how much you would like to spend on this trip. This consideration of cost can vary depending on the purpose of the trip; whether business or pleasure. Another deciding factor is the length of the flight.

If you are short on funds or if the flight is a short one, you may consider flying coach, or economy class. Many airlines have made their coach cabins more spacious and comfortable to even the most frugal traveler. There is not much that is offered as part of the economy flight besides a small snack. The flight attendants will periodically roll the drink cart down the aisles t give passengers the opportunity to enjoy a soft drink or cocktail.

The business class is most popular among business travelers, of course. The business class cabin has more room for busy passengers to be able to get some last minute work done while in the air. There are more features available such as a higher presence of in flight crew to take care of your needs. There will be a wider availability of snack and enhanced meal choices for longer flights. There is usually audio programming that can be listened to through headphones that are usually provided as a convenience to business travelers.

First class affords the best of in flight conveniences to its passengers. The seats are large and spacious and you can lay all the way back without worrying about invading the space of the passenger behind you. The meals are served on china dishes and real silverware and there are usually three selections of meals. The meals are served in several courses including a salad cart, dinner and a dessert cart. Another perk is that all drinks and snacks are included in the first class fare.
