Philippine Airlines

Philippine Airlines began with the desire to build the nation. Currently, the Philippines are considered a third world nation, but is a country with a lot of potential. Philippine Airlines, or PAL, took to the airways on March 15, 1941.

Currently, the airline spans 31 foreign points and 30 domestic points. Throughout the years there has also been a large number of milestones that have been accomplished. This includes online shopping for tickets so that passengers do not have to stand in long lines at the airport. PAL also has a number of business partners, adding to the amenities that passengers receiving, making the flight experience even more pleasant.

PAL’s fleet consists of 41 planes made from 6 different models. Those models include the Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 747-400, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A320-200, and the Airbus 319-100. The last fatal plane crash PAL experienced was in 1996. There have been quite a few crashes since PAL was put into service.  There have been approximately 30 incidents, but most incidents have not ended in fatalities.

The PAL foundation is a division of PAL that is an organization that places people above profits by providing services that allow for humanitarian aid.
