Kuwait Airways has a goal of becoming an airway that everyone wants to fly, for investors to invest in, and for individuals to work for. The company was born in 1954, but served a very limited network. But in 1955, the airline was experiencing financial troubles, so the government invested in 50% of the airline to double its capital. After it was seen how competitive the airline industry is, the government took 100% interest and the airline has grown into a respected carrier.

The airline is an international airline, connecting Kuwait with the rest of the world. The airline is able to easily connect with India, Asia, Europe, and the USA.

Rebuilt in 1991 after the liberation of Kuwait, the airline has been able to have financial viability and uses integrated Management information systems to provide information on the market and Kuwait Airways’ own performance.

The fleet of Kuwait Airways consists of the following: The A320-200, the A320-308, The A300-600, the B777-269, and the A340-313. All planes are manufactured by Airbus Industrie with the exception of the B777, which is manufactured by Boeing.
In regard to their safety record, Kuwait Airways has not had a fatal plane crash since 1988.
