Dragonair operates a fleet of aircrafts consisting of 28 passenger aircraft which include the Airbus A330- 300 Types 1, 2 & 3. Other aircrafts in its fleet are the Airbus A321-200 and A320-200. This impressive fleet and a schedule of about 400 flights weekly enables Dragonair to cover 17 destinations to Mainland China while flying to 29 international destinations across the region.
Its international destinations include; South Korea, Taiwan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The airline’s excellent passenger and cargo services have won it numerous awards including the Best Airline- China category for six straight years. Other awards include the Best regional Airline – SE category conducted in 2008.
The singular accident the airline has experienced took place on July 18 2003 and involved the flight from Kota Kinabalu to Hong Kong but there were no casualties, while twelve crew members and three passengers sustained injuries.
Dragonair’s dual loyalty programmes which are shared with its parent company, Cathay Pacific and include the Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles programmes.
