Czech Airlines

Czech Airlines is the primary airline for the Czech Republic, and is considered the national airline.  Its company and corporate center is located on the grounds of the Ruzyne Airport in Ruzyne, Prague.  The company is most notable around the world for having been the second airline across the globe to begin offering successful jet airliner services in the year 1957, and it was the first commercial airline service to begin flying jet-only routes.  Czech Airlines operates a total of 32 monopoly routes from Prague Airport.  These 32 routes make up 40% of the total flights.

Today, Czech Airlines hosts commercial flights to 70 destinations in 41 different countries worldwide, with their primary destinations within European cities and transit points within the Middle East, Asia and North Africa.  The company also provides charter and cargo services for private and business class services.

The company has a growing fleet of airliners, using Boeing, ATR and Airbus models to service the large number of commercial trips sold.  The airline carried over five million passengers in both 2006 and 2007 separately.

Czech Airlines boasts a contract with Exim Tours, the largest Czech travel agency, to provide charter flights and tour packages to clients earmarked for destinations such as Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, Tunisia and Greece.
