China Southern Air is based at Gaungzou's brand-new Baiyn International Airport. They have thirteen total branches located throughout China, these include: Beijing, Shenzhen, Xinjiang, Dalain, Hainan, Guangxi, Henan, Hunan, Heilongjiang, Hubei, Jilin and Zhuhai. There are a total of eighteen domestic sales offices spread across the greater China province. China Southern Airlines is also the first airline in the China province to completely own and operate its own terminals.
It is considered the largest airline in China, boasting over fifty international offices located in major cities—specifically metropolitan markets. China Southern Airlines operates one of the most impressive fleets in terms of size and technology with over 340 modern Boeing and Airbus jet aircraft serving 841 cities and 162 countries.
In 2004 and 2007, China Southern Airlines was awarded the “Golden Roc Cup” and received the 5 star safety award by the same organization - the CAAC.
China Southern Air currently operates the largest frequent flyer program in China. The widely touted program known as The Sky Pearl Club has more than 4 million members and growing each day. Members enjoy a wide variety of benefits including but not limited to free flights and flight upgrades
On April 10th, 2007 China Southern Airlines was honored with an award for 2007 Customer Satisfaction Award for results through customer service evaluations – This is the most prestigious quality service award in China.
