The full name of Air Pacific is Fiji’s international airline which started operations in 1951. The majority of the airline is currently owned by the government of Fiji. The airline offers flights to a variety of destinations, including Canada, United States, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand, the South Pacific.
Air Pacific has a very young fleet in comparison to many airlines with the majority of their planes being an average of only 7 years. The fleet consists of Boeing 737-800, 737-700, 767-300ER and 747-400.
Air Pacific passengers who travel often are able to apply for membership to their frequent flyer program; Tabua Club. The airline has made a commitment to make Tabua Club the best airline rewards program in the Pacific by offering more perks and discounts than other programs. As well, Air Pacific is a partner of other airline’s reward programs which means even more savings and privileges. These partners include: Qantas, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
Another perk of flying Air Pacific is for children passengers. The airline offers the Captain Bula Kids Club free to children of two years and older. Each child receives a Captain Bula Kid’s Kit containing an activity book, colored pencils and other fun items to keep a child entertained in-flight. The airline also offers a channel just for kids onboard all of their flights as well as interactive games onboard their 747-400 which is used mostly for long haul flights.
