Air Niugini

By adopting a name which is a Pidgin English form of the country’s name, the national carrier of Papua New Guinea, Air Niugini, made a clear statement of intent not merely to ferry passengers but also enrich them with the beauty which the country; the ‘Land of Adventure and Excitement’ has to offer.

Exceeding expectations right from its inaugural year when it carried 350, 000 passengers and logged over 27, 000 hours in the air with its small fleet, Air Niugini today has increased that fleet to include two Boeing aircraft, 6 Fokker 100 planes, two Dash 8- 100 planes, as well as 3 Dash 8 – 100 and Dash 8 – 200.
