Air Canada

Air Canada, even with some recent financial woes, is Canada's largest full-service airline. Along with their regional partner Jazz, they offer direct service to over 170 destinations and serve more than an estimated 32 million passengers every year. If that weren’t impressive enough, Air Canada is one of the founding members of the Star Alliance™™ which is the most extensive air travel network in the entire world. To show you just how extensive a network it is; the Star Alliance™ operates almost 20,000 daily flights to over a thousand airports. Combined, the Star Alliance™ boasts a fleet of close to 4,000 airplanes. Air Canada’s fleet makes up 334 of those airplanes while Jazz has a fleet of approximately 130 airplanes.

As a part of Air Canada’s dedication to customer service, they’re on-time performance statistics are offered quarterly to not only show their passengers how they measure up but also to keep them striving to be the best. They almost always rank within the top ten in comparison to US carriers. This is just one of the many things that help make Air Canada one of the favoured airlines in the world.

In December 2009, Business Traveller magazine awarded them the honors of; Best in Best In-flight Services in North America, Best Flight Attendants in North America, Best North American Airline for Business Travel and Best North American Airline for International Travel. They were also voted as the “Best Airline in North America” and “Best Airline in Canada” by the readers of Global Traveler Magazine. As well, they won the Global Travel Award by World Travel Market, UK.
